Go Karts for Nurture

The Play and Youth Support Team visited school on Monday March 3rd to meet with year 7 and 8 Nurture pupils.

They    brought in lots of materials and “loose parts” for the students to use, including ropes, zimmer frames, tubing, sticks and wheels. The students were tasked with using these the materials to build a go kart that you could sit in and race.

There was some excellent equipment built, with students really getting involved in the project. Everyone had a brilliant time and learned some valuable skills while having fun.
