
Mental health and wellbeing support in school time
All students are actively encouraged to speak to staff if they have a problem or concern. There are lots of staff at YYG who are here to support you, including:
- Head of Year
- Form Tutor
- Safeguarding Team
- Senior Leadership Team
- Peer Mentors
- School Based Youth Workers
- School Nurse
- School Based Counsellor
Mental health support outside school time
Outside of school time students can use external sources for any help or advice, including:
- Local doctor
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) call: 01978 725242, CALL Helpline on 0800 132 737
- Attend A & E in the case of an emergency in order to seek a mental health practitioner
