Ysgol Y Grango is proud to open its state-of-the-art facilities for the local community to use and hire. With a 3G football pitch ideal for matches and training, modern netball courts, a spacious sports hall for a variety of activities, and a well-equipped drama studio for performances and workshops.
The school aims to support community engagement and promote active lifestyles, offering a hub for local events and activities.
3G Pitch
Our new full size 3G floodlit artificial football pitch is located at the back of the school and provides a fantastic playing experience for its users. The pitch can be split into a variety of playing areas suitable for 5, 7, 9 and 11-aside football. This state of the art pitch will prioritise use on evenings and weekends for local grassroots clubs and community activities.
The new 3G pitch at Ysgol y Grango enables all year round access to football for both our players and local community.
Bookings can be made in 30 minute and 1 hour slots during the evenings and weekends until 9.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am until 9pm on Weekends. Parking is available on site. Single or block bookings can be made.
Netball Courts
Our outdoor courts are perfect court for teams, leagues or individuals that are looking to train on their own. Fully marked with posts.

Sports Hall
Popular with the local community in Rhos, our Sports Hall has markings for a number of different activities including badminton, tennis, football, making it the perfect location for all your sporting needs.
Our lettings are open 6 days a week during term time and holidays, with extended opening hours during the holidays. There is ample parking available onsite.

Drama Studio
Welcome to our main hall, a versatile space perfect for a variety of events including gatherings, community services, school functions, and more.
Our hall features a spacious wooden floor, ideal for dancing, performances, and other activities. With a capacity of up to 200 people, it provides ample room for your event.
For seating, we provide access to up to 200 chairs. A screen and sound system with HDMI connection ensure that your presentations or performances can be seen and heard clearly by all attendees.
Organisers will appreciate the convenience of parking spaces available onsite, making it easy for them to manage logistics for their event.
