At Ysgol Y Grango we believe in the transformative power of education to change the lives and young people.

Therefore, careers guidance and support is provided for all learners and is an integral aspect of the student guidance programme. The library has a designated section devoted to careers information and within this area are interview rooms. These discrete areas allow our students to discuss their ambitions with specialist staff.

Fully Qualified Advice

We are very fortunate to have a fully qualified Careers Advisor based one day a week at Ysgol Y Grango. Partnership with Careers Wales enables our Year 11 students to have bespoke individual support as well as providing a variety of activities and workshops which are promoted across the curriculum for all year groups.

 

There is a plethora of opportunities for industries to work with our young people and we hold regular career fair events throughout the year.
