Llangollen trip

7N have visited three local heritage sites after studying them as part of a school project. Our Year 7 students went to Llangollen, taking in Valle Crucis Abbey, Plas Newydd, the home of the Ladies of Llangollen, and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Over the course of a half term, the students had been working in two groups, each focusing on one of the historic attractions. On the day of the trip, the group started out at the abbey. Following this, they travelled into Llangollen to visit Plas Newydd and then on to explore the iconic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Kim Machin, resource provision teacher, said: “We all enjoyed every minute of the day and it was great to see the students so excited and enthusiastic. They all rose to the challenge of giving tours and talks at each destination, they really have excelled themselves. This is a great achievement and I am so proud of all their hard work and progress.” Di awn 7N!!
