ALN Garden Blooming
Our ALN Garden is Blooming Like Never Before! It’s our best gardening year yet, and the garden is bursting with life thanks to the hard work of our amazing Year 7 and Year 9 ALN students!
From tiny seeds to tasty treats, we’ve grown strawberries, raspberries, peas, runner beans, beetroot, onions (red and white!), garlic, potatoes, carrots, sprouts, courgettes, and pumpkins galore – not to mention all sorts of squashes! The herb and salad gardens are thriving, perfect for a fresh garden snack. And in our mini fruit patch – look out for blueberries popping up too!
But it’s not just about food – we’ve got sunflowers, poppies, pansies, violas, petunias, delphiniums, and even towering alliums brightening every corner.
Everything was grown from seed and cared for organically — with plenty of muddy hands, sunshine, and teamwork.
It’s a blooming brilliant achievement, and the garden is buzzing with colour, scent, and pride!
