Ysgol y Grango students visit Vauxhall!

On Wednesday 15th October Year 9 Stem Club and Year 11 Engineers visited Vauxhall as part of the open doors to manufacturing challenge. The day was full of activities and stands offering information about careers in engineering. The Pupils experiences the live production of the cars being manufactured and studied the various processes that go to putting the cars together.

It was an opportunity for all the pupils to try out numerous production operations and speak to the engineers and designers first-hand about their roles and the companies place as a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles. All the pupils thanked the organisers of the day which was visited by 6 other schools as well as Ysgol y Grango.
