Pen y Cae Engineering day

Pupils from Pen Y Cae attended the Engineering Design department at Ysgol Y Grango as part of their pupil and parent day. The year 6 pupils were tasked to research nature in the garden and made their own insect hotels in the workshops at Grango. The pupils brought along their parents as part of a two day event which was led by the Engineering Design Ambassadors from year 7, 8 and 9. Mr Garthwaite (Headteacher) judged the project task and prizes were given out for outstanding work and effort. The first day was a huge success and we are all looking forward to the second day on the 14th July. Mr Haslock would like to thank all of the EDT Ambassadors for leading this project from start to finish, diolch.
